What the role is for, and who it is for.
You will run the measurement stage of operations engagements (depots, plants, service centres) and lead the redesign that follows. The role is measured on the run-rate a year after we leave, not on the slides at week ten.
You will
01Spend the first six weeks of every engagement at the point of work, counting.
02Redesign with team leads in the room and test in one site before asking the rest.
03Publish the weekly run-rate inside the client for twelve months after handover.
04Lead two analysts and hand the operation to the client's own people on a date.
You have
Run an operation (a plant, a network, a service centre) not only advised one.
A low tolerance for process maps drawn in meeting rooms.
Dutch or German is useful; the depot floor rarely speaks English.
If two of these are true and the third is close, write anyway.
What it is not.
A candidate who discovers these in week three has been sold a brochure. They are here so nobody is.
A PowerPoint role. You will write more spreadsheets than slides.
A travel-light role: four days a week on site during measurement.
A path to partner by billing. Nobody here has a utilisation target.
