What the role is for, and who it is for.
You will do the arithmetic behind every audit and strategy engagement: contribution by segment, product and customer, rebuilt from the general ledger; pricing tested on live quotes; the four calls (grow, hold, fix, exit) with the number behind each.
You will /
01Rebuild margin maps from the ledger and the transaction log in three weeks.
02Test pricing with the client's sales team on real quotes.
03Draft the opportunity ledger and price every candidate move.
04Sit in the board session where the recommendation is argued.
You have /
Two or three years in finance, analytics or a first consulting role.
The habit of checking a number against its source before believing it.
Writing that a board can read once.
If two of these are true and the third is close, write anyway.
What it is not.
A candidate who discovers these in week three has been sold a brochure. They are here so nobody is.
A slide-production role. The deck is twelve pages and the model is the work.
A two-years-and-out role. Analysts here become consultants here.
How we hire, in order.
The page is about a number you moved and how you know. We read every one; a partner, not a screener.
With the partner for the service. You ask most of the questions.
Three hours with an anonymised ledger from a closed engagement. We want to see how you check a number, not whether you get the answer we got.
Paid. You sit in on live work and we sit in on you.
From a published band. No negotiation theatre: the band is the band.
