Accessibility

What this site does to be usable by everyone, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us about something we missed.

What we aim for

WCAG 2.2 at level AA across the site. The identity was designed with that in mind: ink on paper at high contrast, one type family at readable sizes, every control reachable by keyboard and visible when focused.

What the site does

  • Every page has one heading structure that reads in order without the styling.
  • Every interactive element (menus, filters, accordions, the carousel) works by keyboard, announces its state, and can be closed with Escape where it opens something.
  • Text sizes are fluid and respond to browser zoom to 400%.
  • Motion is limited to short arrivals and stops entirely under a reduced-motion preference; the page is complete without it.
  • Colour is never the only carrier of meaning; every figure has its unit in text.
  • Photographs carry descriptions where they carry information, and are marked decorative where they do not.

What is not yet right

  • The pinned capabilities section on the homepage uses a long scroll track; a skip link past it is planned.
  • Some photograph captions repeat information from the adjacent text and will be marked decorative.
  • The demo forms do not submit; a buyer wiring them to a backend should preserve the inline error pattern.
